New research shows people reporting long COVID symptoms here in the US has dropped since last summer, but some people are still coping with changes to their daily life caused by the condition. The report from the US Center for Disease Control and Prevention has some interesting findings. Long COVID prevalence among all us fell from 7.5% in June of 2022 to 6% in June of 2023. About one in four respondents with long COVID said they had quote significant activity limitations, meaning they have difficulty with day to day, like going to work or going to the grocery store. The report found long COVID was less common in the youngest and the oldest groups. It was highest among people ages 35 to 44.
