Defense Company Shield AI Developing Technology For Military

joining us now is Ryan saying he's the co founder and Ceo of Shield Ai. So Ryan, thanks for joining us on this friday. Your company says it's building an Ai pilot for both military and commercial aircraft. So can you share a little bit more about what the technology that Shield Ai is developing and what it aims to do? Well, first thank you for having me here. Glad to be here. Shield AI's mission is to protect service members and civilians with intelligence systems and we focus on achieving that by building the world's best AI pilot and when we think about building the world's best AI pilot, we think about the missions that our defense customers and also our commercial users are conducting every single day and we try to find ways to do those missions better do it in a way where the pilot is trusted and make sure that it's an economic solution for our customers. Now, you guys revolve about this idea of the Hive Mind and how does this tech ensure that the aircraft can fly and maneuver safely? So Hive Mind is an AI framework, it's an AI pilot that enables the aircraft to see think and act and do all the processing entirely on the edge and an example of our capability, it could be applied to a wide area search. It could also be applied to aerial combat and it's very much doing the same thing that a human pilot would do if they were into the cockpit If they were in the cockpit. The difference is that our AI pilots have the ability to accrue great deals of experience and simulation before they ever end up in the pilot and each pilot that we deployed today has the equivalent of roughly you know, a human pilot with 1700 years of flight experience started my pilot's license a few years back. I didn't get that far with it, but 1700 hours of experience is quite impressive. So I know that Shield AI also developed hardware products powered by High Fine, which includes this drone system that you guys are calling Nova. So can you share a little bit more about these products and what they do? The company started around the mission of protecting service members and civilians from threats by allowing us to get eyes and ears in places where it was difficult to get them. The company was inspired by my brother's experience. He was a navy seal with a couple deployments in the Middle East. One of the pacific and one of the greatest challenges he faced was an inability to get the information he needed to protect people, including civilians and his teammates. And so the company started by creating a product line called Nova which is an autonomous quadcopter which uses our AI pilot which allows our service members and allies to get eyes and ears inside of buildings before they make entry. Now what are some of the government and military organizations using Shield Ai technology um who are you working with at this time? We have many partners across the U. S. Government. We're also working with allies of the United States. We've had the opportunity to deploy our our our products worldwide.
