Democratic 2020 Contenders Look for an Early Edge in New Hampshire

The first-in-the-nation New Hampshire primary may be nearly one year away, but Democratic candidates were already there in force over Presidents Day weekend, seeking to gain an early advantage in the already-crowded presidential field. Sen. Cory Booker, Rep. Tulsi Gabbard, and South Bend Mayor Pete Buttigieg were just a few of the candidates trying to connect with voters and separate themselves from the pack. Cheddar's J.D. Durkin was on the campaign trail, talking to those candidates ー and the voters they're seeking to impress.
