Yesterday, the Department of Education launched new investigations into possible anti Semitism and islamophobia at seven schools across the country. These are the schools on your screen. The K through 12 Mas Unified School District Lafayette College, Cornell and Columbia Universities, Wellesley College and Cooper Union along with the University of Pennsylvania. Now, according to the department, once the investigation is complete, they will make recommendations to the schools on how to comply with title six of the Civil Rights Act and provide a safe learning environment. Schools that don't address discrimination could lose federal funding.
