From 2007 to 2016, Hough was a dancer on the show and set a record with six winning seasons. He talked to Cheddar News' Baker Machado about the stiff competition this season and what has impressed him the most so far. Hough also talked about being part of the Teach the Love competition that looks to boost interest in travel and reward teachers. "Two things that I absolutely love: travel. I love traveling so much. I'm such a huge adventurer. But also, being a teacher myself, I'm just so thankful for all the teachers and mentors in my life that have helped me get to where I am today, and I wouldn't be here if it wasn't for them," he said.

"It was really fun. My job as co-producer was just to be there on set pitching jokes. It's a really funny movie. It's a fun good time.
