A new study on the diabetes drug Moon Jar shows how the drug can be used to help people struggling with obesity lose weight. The study published in the journal Nature Medicine found that people taking the drugs combined with diet and exercise lost about £60. On average. The study tested 600 people and three months after the diet and exercise were imposed, they were either given a place shot or a shot of a tide. That's the off label version of MJ. Well, the results show that the people given the placebo only lost about 7% of their body weight while those given to lost about 18%. There were side effects though nausea, diarrhea and more gastro intestinal issues. 10% of people in the study stopped taking the medication. Um Kind of some interesting findings. We talk so much about this how it's impacting not only people, our health uh society, the economy as well, but I think every time we do one of these stories, it's just so worth noting the side effects that come along with it. I'm so glad you said that uh a lot of people are talking about these drugs. A lot of people have had positive effects, seeing a lot of people with the side effects of stomach paralysis, nausea. Just to mention a few you and I say this all the time. This is a great study. It's very positive, but always talk to your doctor before you get on medications like these, you just want to make sure it's good for you. But I'm glad so many people that are trying to get healthy that this shot assisted them with that. And of course, also watch your diet and exercise. I don't think you can rely solely on a shot like that whole stick. That's right. You got to do some work too. That's right. It's not a magic shot.
