Disney is reportedly interested in buying one of its biggest rivals, Fox. A large part of that interest comes Fox's jump into the subscription streaming space. Alyssa Julya Smith sits down with Shira Lazar, CEO and Founder of Whats Trending, to get the latest on the talks and what they mean for the two companies. She explains that the merger would be a huge win for both companies, as Disney would be bringing is deep library of movies and TV shows from cable, as well as content from Marvel, Lucasfilm, Disney Animation and Pixar. 21st Century Fox on the other hand, has a huge production arm, and is responsible for shows like NBC's "This Is Us." Lazar explains that if this acquisition happens, it would be huge competition for Netflix- not just on the audience side, but on the talent side as well.
