Google is under fire. On Tuesday, the Department of Justice, joined by 11 states with Republican attorneys general, have filed an antitrust lawsuit against the tech giant. The lawsuit calls Google a, quote, 'monopoly gatekeeper of the Internet,' and goes on to say Google has, quote, 'used anti-competitive tactics to maintain and extend its monopolies in the markets for general search services, search advertising, and general search text advertising — the cornerstones of its empire." Google since responded, saying in a statement the lawsuit is deeply flawed. Joel Mitnick, partner in the Antitrust and Global Litigation groups at Cadwalader, joined Closing Bell to break down the suit and says this case will be 'quite a long undertaking.'
