Election Officials Targeted With Fentanyl Laced Envelopes

Election officials in five states were sent suspicious envelopes this week. Some of these envelopes contained the drug fentaNYL. This is only one of the latest acts of intimidation directed towards election officials around the us. These threats delayed ballot counting in some areas and now authorities are on the hunt to find the source. The FBI says letters were sent to officials in Georgia, Nevada, California, Oregon and Washington State. Four contained fentaNYL. Some were intercepted before arriving at their intended targets.
