Eli Lily is suing 10 medical spas wellness clinics and compounding pharmacies across the country. The company is accusing the locations for allegedly selling cheaper unauthorized version of its diabetes drug Manjar. This comes as Eli Lilly is dealing with a shortage of the drug in the United States because of a rapid increase in demand due to its weight loss side effect. The lawsuits have been filed in several states. They include Florida, Texas and Minnesota asking the courts to block sales of the alleged counterfeit version of man.
