Encantos Provides Learning and Storytelling for Kids

And let's start with you, tell us a bit more about the story worlds and how it's helping kids here. Absolutely. Well, we all know that kids learn through stories, that's how they learn best. And we thought what an incredible opportunity to bring diverse storytellers from all around the world in one place. So that can actually help kids learn through play through stories and that's what we've done with the Okay, so, Susie, what's the response been like so far from families and kids who are subscribing to tonto? I mean, learning is just more fun when there's characters and their stories involved so far, kids are just really excited at the fact that this is something that doesn't feel like learning, it feels like, you know, just enjoying great characters, it feels like playing and what a better way to play than with stories and characters. Absolutely. And we're seeing some of this right now now, Stephen and content is really making strides in the digital learning space. What would you say makes the company stand out compared to other platforms that are out there. I mean at the end of the day, it's all about the authenticity, the cultural authenticity and can you really reach kids, but at the same time you also have to reach parents because you know, we do everything from a priority by design approach. And so this is really something about cultural authenticity that parents are gonna want to put in front of their kids and you know, the whole idea that you can't have entertainment that is also educational, That's just a fallacy. Um it's just kind of a false choice. So you can actually learn through play all the research has kind of been around for years showing that, but there really has not been enough, you know, kind of quality content, especially diverse kids content. Because today over 50% of all kids in the United States are diverse, led by the latino market. So having things that are gonna be cultural authentic with creators that are diverse. That is one of the key reasons why people have gravitated towards and condos and our original I. P like pantyhose. Yeah, we know visibility incredibly important here, Susie. Why do you also think storytelling is so important and effective at teaching kids about culture? I think storytellers are educators with superpowers. You know, if you can enchant a child with wonder if you can let their nation's Rome. If you can inspire them to want to learn, you've just checked a great big box. Right? You'll basically teach them to teach themselves, which is the greatest gift you can give a child. So if we can produce content that just broadens their horizons, that gets them to fall in love with culture, with music, with language with stories with learning. We've just done I think humanity a tremendous service. All right, so steven, what tips do you have for parents out there who are trying to teach their kids to be bilingual and also incorporate these lessons every single day here? Well, I'll take it up to, you know, my co founder partner and purpose Susie because she created can't Icos which is the number one bilingual preschool brand. And I feel like there is just such an incredible opportunity for kids to learn two languages when they're very, very young. I mean being bilingual makes you smarter. You have all the research and all the science around that. But when you understand something that is culture Authentic.
