It's credited with bringing five G technology to companies in a way they can afford an easily consumed Barcelona recently featured in Forbes magazine on its next billion dollar startups list and at least the list features young venture backed startups that analysts believe have the best chance of reaching a billion dollar valuation. So joining me now is rajiv Shah as Ceo and founder of Salone a regime, thank you so much for coming on, tell me more about this new Forbes ranking and what it says and what it does for your company. Well firstly thank you christian for having us over. It's an absolute pleasure to be chatting and yeah, I think the folks ranking is great validation for the potential of this really this new market that's emerging um you know we in the saloon a team, we are self professed set of wireless geeks, you know when we walk into some of these venues and people are all taking their photographs and videos and uploading them on instagram, we are the ones looking at the wireless radios and calculating the capacity of those networks. So we geek out on these wireless networks and I think what Forbes has caught onto is really the potential of what this could do to industries like manufacturing like logistics that are going through a pretty significant digital transformation right now But are really suffering from poor wireless connectivity and I think we have an opportunity with the enterprise 5G offering, we have developed to really accelerate that and so we are very excited about what this is possible with this walk me through, Rajiv, some of your clients now, some of your potential clients and how they would be using your services. Yeah, I mean think of pretty much any floor that does not have a carpet, we always call this the un carpeted enterprise think factories, think warehouses, think ports, thinks railyards, hospitals and as much as sitting in these offices, we are used to having everything connected, everyone connected. A lot of the names that you see up there. These are environments where connectivity is a real challenge. I can give you a great example of a warehouse that's being deployed right now which has hundreds of robots which are zipping around at about 30 miles an hour picking objects and dropping them into the packages on unpacking them etc. And every time there is a loss of wireless connectivity it leads to a complete stoppage of operations in that region for minutes altogether. And that's loss of hundreds of thousands of dollars per minute and that's just not acceptable. And so they have instead replaced it, their previous legacy system with our five G systems and seeing pretty dramatic improvements in their efficiency, their automation and you're seeing that story play out repeatedly whether it's automotive manufacturers, whether it is warehouses, Whether it is ports and really it's like I said Rege Eve so in addition to this major endorsement by Forbes which is pretty much as good as it gets when it comes to pr I see your company also raised 60 million back in March. And so what is the strategy to expand ahead and use that money and deploy it for the company? Yeah, I think we closed our series C in february and that capital is really going to fund our expansion in the field. We have tripled our sales force in the United States since then and we are in the words of launching in europe and soon after in Japan and Southeast Asia as well. And this is really a global phenomenon at this point of time. As we're going through this phase where every nation is realizing the need for manufacturing and supply chain independence. They're also realizing that they need the next level of automation and so we are seeing demand from all of these countries and we need this capital to go be in every place where the customer is.
