Video gaming among Americans continues to grow in popularity as a report by the Entertainment Software Association found people migrated toward games for comfort and connection. ESA President and CEO Stan Pierre-Louis joined Cheddar to talk about the findings. He noted that 80 percent of gamers are people over the age of 18, "and that really blows the lid off of what people assume are gamers," he said. Another surprising fact, according to Pierre-Louis, is that women over the age of 65 are reported to have been gaming on average between 12 and 17 years.
