Everything New With the iPhone 15 and 15 Max

And this Friday, the iphone 15 and Apple watch series nine are hitting the market. We got an early look at the new Apple devices this morning. Ok. So let's start with the iphone 15 and the iphone 15 plus. So the regular iphone 15 starts at 7 99. And one of the big new features is a 48 megapixel camera on the back. So that's actually coming down from the pro from last year. So it's a nice trickle down feature and for 7 99 that's good. The other good thing is that because you have that many pixels to play with, you can get sharper pictures and you can also zoom in a little bit better. So you basically get an effective two X zoom. So you know how there's only two cameras on the back, there's no telephoto technically, but because there's a 48 megapixels, you could, it actually crops in and it's basically like you get a telephoto lens without having the third lens. And the other big thing is USB C charging for the first time. And I know Apple was sort of like dragged, kicking and screaming into this move it's a game Jake, but a lot of like a lot of us use like USB C to charge our other gadgets. The other cool thing is that if you have a pair of the new airpods or your Apple watch, you can charge that via USB C. So if you're running low, it's actually really nice. So stepping up from there, we have the iphone 15 plus. So this one has a larger display, so 6.7 inches. And so this is definitely better like for watching movies. So for example, right now we're just a trailer. The other good thing is that in our battery test, it lasted over 14 hours on a charge. We test all the phones that come in over cellular. This lasted a little over 14 hours. The iphone 15 was 11 hours. So that's a three hour difference for $100 difference. So if I was going with one of the two base models and I didn't mind carrying a larger screen, this is the one I would go for because you get the bigger screen, longer battery life for $100. More mark we have about two minutes left. Tell me about the pro model. What's new with that? And how much does it cost? Ok, great. So we have the iphone 15 Pro and Pro Max here. What I like about the Pro is that has a new Titanium design. So especially with the Pro Max. So for the first, you guys can hold this. So for the first time, you're getting a 6.7 inch display and something that's actually not too big. So the bezel around the screen are smaller than before. And the other big difference is this new action button. So Apple has retired the ringer switch on the pro models and there's this new action button here and you can, you can decide what you want to assign this to. So I'm going through the options right now. So for example, if I wanted to do a camera and right now it's down like to, to portrait selfie. That's what I have a program for if I come in here and then I just hit this button on the outside, it launches directly into the camera just with a button press and then with another button press, that's gonna be me because it's so easy because often times you want that camera and it's so hard. Yeah, so that, so like it's a really nice shortcut to have and then it's also just really great at video. Um So do you guys want to get into the Apple Watch? Because I love my Apple watch. Tell us about new one. We have about a minute to talk about. It sounds good. So the big news with the Apple watch is actually three things. So for 3 99 you're getting a brighter display. So it's about 2000 knits outdoors. So it's really good. Especially if you're running the other thing. That's really neat and weird is this new double tap feature. So, if I have my hand held out here and then I just double tap with my fingers, of course, it's not worth you tapping your own fingers. You're not. So, so the idea is you use your fingers to tap and you can go through all different sorts of, um, menus. There I go. Yeah. So, so you see how it's going up? That's incredible. That is nice. That is cool. You saved the best for last. And what about old I, I watches. Can I upgrade software as far as I know, I don't think you can do, use double tap on older Apple watches, but I'll double check. But the whole idea is that it can, it measures the blood flow in your arm and the, and the like the, the movement that you're making with your hand. So how does this come in handy? Like it's nice party trick, but you can actually use it for answering calls or yesterday when I was grilling. I actually went outside. My brother messaged me. I had my hands full. I went like this. I responded to the message and then I went like this again. And the message sent those new cars with Apple Play where you can just go like this. Thanks so much again.
