Expelled Tennessee Lawmakers Win Back Seats

And two Tennessee state representatives who were expelled by House Republicans back in April won back their seats last night. Justin Pearson and Justin Jones were part of a trio of state democratic lawmakers known as the Tennessee three for their protest over gun reform. Both representatives were temporarily reinstated ahead of yesterday's special elections and Jones defeated his Republican challenger Laura Nelson with more than 75% of the vote while Pearson overwhelmingly defeated independent candidate Jeff Johnson with more than 90% of the vote.
