Google is reigning in political advertising. The tech giant announced it would begin to ban political advertisers from targeting based on political affiliation, voter records and specific location. The move echos actions by other tech companies like Twitter and Snapchat. The Wall Street Journal reporting today that Facebook is considering jumping on the bandwagon and curbing super-targeted political ads as well.
