Facebook Whistleblower Testifies Company Focuses on Profit Over People

One former product manager at Facebook has testified in front of the Senate in regards to the company's failure to protect its users. According to the Facebook Whistleblower, the company has repeatedly used products that have caused harm and threats to its teen users. This comes after the whistleblower, who has now been identified as Frances Haugen, released documents that show how the media company is fully aware of problems it has caused, including Instagram's potential "toxic" impact on girls.
