Fat Bear Week 2023 Begins 

If you didn't know it is Fat Bear Week. That sounds adorable. The annual celebration showcases the bears that caught my National Park and reserve in Alaska. 12 bears are competing in this year's race to be crowned Fat Bear Week champion. Now that including last year's winner, bear 7 47. So Cheddar picked some of our favorites. Here. They are meet 1 28 grazer, a large adult female. And according to the Fat Bear Week website, choose quote, one of the fattest bears to utilize Brooks River. Here's 806 junior competing against the adults. This one is just a year old cub but apparently very shy and here's bear 901. Wow. It's a big one, an adult female who can spend almost all day hunting for fish. That's her favorite activity. Moving on to bear who 2 84 a medium sized adult female with an aggressive attitude when it comes to protecting her cubs. And last but not least 435, Holly, a large adult female who according to the website finds herself newly single. This year, the bears are preparing for winter hibernation and the annual contest runs until October 10th. Fans can vote for this year's contenders at explore dot org forward slash fat bear. I love how much they know about their personalities. How do we know that Holly is single and maybe should put on a few pounds. We've all been there after a heartbreak I have when nature takes over.
