Fat Brands to Add Johnny Rockets to the 'Plant-Based Protein Train'

Fat Brands is gearing up to overhaul a number of its subsidiaries with plant-based burger options. Andy Wiederhorn, president and CEO of Fat Brands, said customers are demanding the option from its restaurants like Johnny Rockets and Yalla. Wiederhorn also added that the company is looking to acquire franchises in new markets like pizza, salad, sandwiches, and coffee and dessert, and he also touched on the issue of the restaurant industry's difficulties with finding enough workers.
