The FDA has declined to take a stance on whether to support booster shots of Moderna's COVID-19 vaccine. The agency says the authorized two-dose vaccine provides enough protection against severe disease and death in the U.S. This comes less than a month after regulators authorized booster shots of Pfizer's vaccine for millions of Americans.
