Food and Drug administration just approved the expanded use of Regeneron's drug in Children aged 5 to 11. This drug will treat a condition called homozygous familiar hypo cholesterol imia. The drug maker says about 200 pediatric patients have this condition. The expanded approval makes Regeneron's drug called The first drug to treat kids under 10 with this disorder, but this medicine is not cheap. The company noted a list price of $450,000 per year per patient.
