Federal Judge Blocks Removal of Razor Wire Along U.S., Mexico Border

A federal judge in Texas has temporarily blocked the Biden administration from removing razor wire along the US Mexico border. The US border patrol has had to cut the wire to respond to emergency situations of migrants drowning or experiencing dehydration. The state of Texas sued to stop the agents from cutting the wire. A federal judge ruled yesterday the wire was property of the state. The temporary order is in place until November 13th and will prevent border agents from cutting the wire quote for any reason other than to provide or obtain emergency medical aid.
