Federal Reserve to Announce Next Rate Decision

Said the Federal Reserve Board is meeting today as it considers whether to raise rates again. While economists do predict that another rate hike is on the horizon. And the FED has so far raised rates 10 times since March of last year as it's worked to lower inflation. Well, after the latest fed meeting back in June, the board left rates unchanged but fed chair Jerome Powell did predict more rate hikes before the end of the year. The decision is going to drop at 2 p.m. Eastern and it comes as the Dow has been on quite the win streak these past few weeks. It closed higher for 12 straight sessions and if it closes higher today, lucky number 13, that would mark the longest win streak for the Dow since 1987.
