Find the Biggest Cyber Monday Deals with These Tips

you know, Shannon, we've made it through thanksgiving and black friday. So that means only one thing, the biggest online shopping day finally here and there's so many deals, it's overwhelming. I have so many tabs open right now of looking for online shopping and I'm already exhausted already. Yes, I do. I mean who knows what I'm buying here soon. So joining us now to focus on what we should be doing in terms of shopping smarter and her favorite deals is our friend trey bajaj. Smart shopping expert over at true trade dot com. Trey Good to see you as always. So what category should we be focusing on today for our shopping? Yeah, so baker, it is really confusing. There are so many deals and so I would focus on tech, small appliances, fall fashion and beauty. That's where I'm seeing the deepest discounts today. Those are some good things. And it's also a lot, but you know, there are still some dues and don't that we always mess up and get wrong. So what are the dues and don't of cyber monday shopping because sometimes it could be different from black friday. Right? Yeah. So the difference, the main difference between black friday and cyber monday is that on cyber monday? The deals tend to be broader where on black friday, it might be a sale on one item on cyber monday. It's maybe a collection of items. Um, and then also for retailers who are nimble, the discounts might be deeper if they didn't have a great black friday. So that's something to keep in mind another day do is to always, always, always use a deal site because even though retailers have great deals going on right now, if you use a deal site you can save even more so slick deals dot net who I work with. I like this one specifically for cyber monday because they're actually more community driven. They have 12 million deal seekers voting up and vetting deals and all the very strongest deals are right on the front page. And so it's a good base camp to see what the best deals are. And then click on their black friday button as well because they have lots and lots of more intel for cyber monday and just to be clear this deal site, if we're looking for air fryer, will it tell us who has the cheapest air fryer? Or does it just say these are the deals that are out right now? So I would search for air fryer and then all the air fryer deals are gonna pop up and then you'll be able to see which ones are working really well which retailers have it. And then another thing to Shannon, if you're looking specifically for an air fryer that's like a certain brand, you can google that item and then it'll show you everywhere that item is sold and for how much so that's gonna be a 12 punch, I would look and then I would check, google my mother in law is obsessed with her. Air fryer every day. She's like, have you got your air fryer yet? Have you gotten it? They're awesome. Right. Alright. So what deals are particularly are exciting you this year? Yeah. So I was looking last night because of course, you know for me I shopped for a living. So I'm like, what am I gonna buy? Um So the amazon echo dot, if you need one of those, there's 62% off right now beats by dr dre are 57% off right now. You can save $200 on a kitchenaid stand mixer at target. And then uh ASOS for fashion up to 80% off north Up to 60% off. And then at all to you can save up to 50% off on beauty. So you hear these numbers, these sales are really big. All right, so you were mentioning earlier, you know, shops are a bunch of different websites to go to to make sure you're getting the best deal consumers obviously need to save here. How can we say even more and make sure that we're not leaving any other last dollars left on the table here. Yeah. So, great question. So you obviously want to use a deal site or two or three. Like I have maybe like five going on at the same time. That might be overkill. Deal sites doing your research on Google. And then the other thing I would say is pay attention to the credit card that you're shopping with. A lot of us don't think about this. But some credit cards may give you 2% cash back. Others may not give you anything. So get familiar with what your credit card offers and then shop with that card. And then also you may be ignoring those emails that your credit card is sending you with exclusive offers. Those might align with what you're planning to buy. And so if your Amex or your visa has an exclusive offer at a retailer where you plan to shop and you use that card you can save even more. So that's a way to kind of stack the savings on top of what retailers are already offering. You know a lot of people, especially my wife have already spent their budget from black friday and small business saturday so they may not have a lot to shop today. So what other holidays or deal opportunities are still coming that we may be able to get some good deals on. Yeah, so we're we're not done. So black friday and cyber monday are super exciting. But we also have tomorrow which is giving Tuesday great opportunity to give back to the causes that you care about. It's also travel deal Tuesday And so according to travel app hopper, it's the best day of the season to take advantage of travel deals for holiday and also beyond. And then one of my other favorite shopping days is free shipping day and that's december 14th and that's the day that most retailers will. That's kind of the final day that they'll guarantee on time delivery for christmas and they usually offer free shipping and then additional deals on that day and then kind of a big final sale day would be super Saturday which is 17 December, the last kind of big sale Day before Christmas. And that's one that I would maybe do in store because you don't want to take any chances with potential shipping delays. Yeah, I mean that's usually the day I start buying my husband's gifts on like a couple of days before Christmas. Do you think these deals are going to run through Christmas since there's a lot of inventory left over here? Yeah, so that's an interesting point. We are seeing a lot of inventory and that's because that's why we're seeing so many deals right now. So it's really about the categories and timing your, your purchases accordingly. So we talked about what's hot right now, going into december we'll see more deals on toys, holiday themed items, holiday gift sets and winter apparel. So if you have those things on your list right now just hold off and focus on those items in december. I'm trying to wait to get that winter jacket but it's getting cold.
