Ford's impressive pickup truck sales in 2022, helping it narrow and overall sales decline seem broadly across the industry on December, proving to be a crucial month for Ford selling more than 75,000 F series pickup trucks. That helps it narrow, its yearly sales decline to just 2.2%. It is still a drop off, but Ford did for better than most automakers. So there has been an overall decline of about 9% in auto sales that we've seen in the past 12 months or so. Before you see that stock obviously up on the day, it's up about 2%. And if we take a look at where the top automakers rank as far as sales in the us GM for 2022, taking the top spot from Toyota by selling more than two and a quarter million vehicles. Ford did sell about 1.9 million, but that's not surprising. I mean, we know Ford does have the most popular vehicle, but it doesn't produce the most vehicles. I mean, GM has had that spot going back to the 19 thirties, I think 1931 we told our viewers yesterday, so no surprise there, but certainly a positive day for Ford
