A bedbug infestation is sweeping through the city of Paris. The French government said it would continue to quote reassure and protect residents from the bedbug search in the French capital, transportation agencies and parents received reports of bedbug sightings on the city's public transit system, Paris Metro. The Paris metro said it has been quote vigilant in resolving the issue and in the last few days, there have been no proven causes or cases of the blood sucking critters on public transit. The surge in bedbug sightings come as Paris gears up for the 2024 Olympic Games which are set to kick off in the French capital in July of next year.
