Simon is a huge advocate for medicinal marijuana and the state adoption of cannabis legalization. Simon says that she sees a lot of similarities between the start of the e-commerce industry and the start of the legal cannabis industry. Simon was ready for a new challenge and wanted to champion an industry that she believes will revolutionize healthcare. Simon does say that the federal government could have a large hand in the future of cannabis. However, the country-wide adoption seems inevitable to her at this point.
