And the Fulton County, Georgia District attorney has accused Representative Jim Jordan of quote unjustified and illegal intrusion into her investigation into former President Donald Trump. Last month, D Fani Willis charged Trump and 18 allies with allegedly attempting to change election results in Georgia. In a letter dated yesterday, Willis wrote that congressional investigation into a state case is quote flagrantly at odds with the constitution. Willis goes on to write to Jordan, quote, your job description as a legislator does not include criminal law enforcement, nor does it include supervising a specific criminal trial because you believe that that doing so will promote your partisan political objectives.
