Gilgo Beach Killings Suspect to Appear in Court

The suspect of the Gilgo Beach killings appeared in court today, Rex Heman who is accused of killing three women in Long Island, New York appeared in Suffolk County Supreme Court for a pretrial conference. He told a judge in court. He has been spending 2 to 3 hours per day. The evidence prosecutors have presented against him. That was the only time he spoke during today's hearing back in July. Huberman pled not guilty to three counts of first degree murder over the deaths of three women whose remains were discovered near Gilgo Beach in 2010. A judge ruled last month that Huberman had to provide a DNA sample to be used as a comparison with other evidence, including a hair found on a victim and DNA found on a pizza crust and a napkin. He's next court hearing is scheduled for November 15. That's when prosecutors will provide more evidence to Hu's lawyers, which is said to include more than 10,000 pictures.
