Open A I has removed a chat GP T feature. This after a user has found a way to cleverly bypass online pay walls. A beta or a preview of the service's browse with Bing feature was temporarily disabled for paid subscribers. Now, the problem is if users asked chat GP T for the text found at a specific URL, even if it was behind a pay wall, that service would reproduce the article in full. That's obviously an issue for subscriber based websites and publications. And open A I is attempting to address the problem that the company announced, quote, we've disabled the browse with bing beta feature out of an abundance of caution this while we fix this in order to do right by our content owners. I mean, wow. I mean, not only can chat G BT just change everything else, it gets you behind the bay walls. You don't even need to have your subscriptions to anything else anymore. I mean, as journalists, I feel like we should support this. Yes, 100%. But I do wish I knew that hack. That is an interesting little hack. And obviously at the moment it was found out, it was quickly changed.
