Yeah, just down the road a couple hours ago the Supreme Court heard a case that might change the future of your elections and here's what you'll want to know. So it's a voting rights case called more v harper and came to the highest court of the land from north Carolina. Here are the facts. The north Carolina Supreme Court struck down its Republican state legislatures plan to gerrymander. The court there called it unconstitutional because the found the plan was quote an egregious and intentional partisan gerrymander would be more favorable to republican voters and republican legislatures. There were of course very frustrated by the court's decision and are now asking the US Supreme Court to say that state courts shouldn't be allowed to review the state legislatures decisions when it comes to voting because it violates a clause in the constitution. So in other words, it could basically give state legislatures a lot more power when it comes to voting without anyone even looking over their shoulder.
