Google News Showcase to Launch This Summer

Google's long delayed product will pay news outlets to feature their content that's going to launch in the US this summer. According to Google, which adds that the product called Google News Showcase is an effort to support media outlets. Comes as many countries around the world have passed or are considering legislation to help news publishers receive payments from tech companies for featuring the company's products. Google News Showcases was announced in 2020 rolled out in more than 20 countries. Though still negotiations with some publishers have prevented it from officially launching here in America. Google said that showcase will feature more than 150 US news publications.
