Government Shutdown Just 2 Days Away

All right. Well, there's just two days before the deadline to avert a government shutdown and Congress still does not have a plan to avert it overnight. The house passed three spending bills though the fourth was blocked, but the bills which provide funding for the full fiscal year are unlikely to pass in the Democrat controlled Senate. Meanwhile, the Senate's bipartisan stop gap bill passed earlier this week also has little chance of passing his house Speaker Kevin mccarthy said he will not support it. Mccarthy said he will reveal his own temporary funding plan today.
