Another tie with a few days, despair we're breaking down some of the top gifts that are sure to make your Dad's day joining us now to discuss and help is Raymond wong deputy editor, reviews and guides at input. Welcome to the show Raymond. So input released its list of top gifts for celebrating dad's. What should people, especially those who still haven't gotten a gift? Me beginning Dad this weekend. There are a bunch of different categories. I think that you can shop for their mobile gifts. That's a new phone, new tablet kindle. These are all really affordable now prices have really come down especially now that there are sales, there are gaming uh gifts that's an Xbox PS five, those are really hard to get. But you know there is a large library of games for for those consoles as well as some quirkier consoles, like the Steam Deck for pc Gamers play date if you're looking for something a little more retro. Uh Smart home gifts are always really popular. Um smart speakers, think echo homepod smart lights, those are really cool to kind of deck out your apartment or home. And then you know the usual entertainment gifts which are really great sound bars and wireless headphones. Again Those prices have really come down over the last couple of years. You can find a lot of options for you know, really just uh $300, $100. Really a lot of fantastic options and you can find all that on input. Is there something on inputs? Lister I mean that you think should be there that maybe wasn't uh we went with a bunch of unexpected gifts so a little bit weird. Offbeat. But you can always definitely count on gifts like smartwatches and Apple Watch. Galaxy Watch for those are really great for keeping fit, uh staying connected, staying healthy. Wireless earbuds. Super popular prices. Again really low now. Airpods, Airpods, pro galaxy buds. If you're on android, nothing here. $100 active noise cancelation, fantastic value. And then you know there's also my favorite VR headsets. The Oculus quest or meta quest to I should say as it's called now. Um and yeah that's a really great way to kind of get yourself immersed in uh another world for a few hours as you well know since covid hybrid work is still the norm for so many people out there. Are there any at home office gadgets that would be a hit this father's Day. Absolutely. A standing desk is a must have, especially if you're working and sitting at a desk all day long, it's good to adjust the desk so that you can actually stand up and kind of relieve your back a little bit. I'm using one right now. The flex spot E. C. One that one's only $260. So you don't have to spend a lot of money on that. Um. Other gifts include a nest hub. If you want to really show off your photos from your phone all your family members can take photos on their own phones and kind of have them show up on an album. I love that. It's really affordable. Again. $50 for an S. One gen 1 $60 for next to the best uh digital picture frame you can possibly get right now. Um A robot vacuum. These used to cost for 405 $100. Sometimes even $1000 right now. Uh The one that I recommend is one made by Anker by their sub brand new fee. It's only 100 $40. It just does the job cleans your office and you never have to worry about it. And uh lastly I would say a mechanical keyboard. Everyone's really into mechanical keyboards. Now throw away that one that you know your work issued. That's really bad. Really not ergonomic. And get one that's really clicky really tactile uh something that you really enjoy typing and working on. I love every single one of those suggestions. I want everything on that list. And we know dad's also like to be pampered. It's not just for moms any wellness gifts that are trending this father's day wellness gifts. I would say maybe a smart cup. I have one that's called the ember smart mug lets you regulate the temperature and keep it kind of warm. So hot, hot drinks are always uh at the correct temperature that you want it. Coffee, tea, hot water, always at the perfect temperature, never cool. And not every family may have a dad. So to show those father figures or guardians of the household playing both parents, how can people show their appreciation? Raymond, I would say a great gift would be a lego set. Something that you can do together with your uh father figure or father or mother or mother figure. Um just it's a good time to bond right now. You know, the last couple of years have been really tough. It's good to get some face time with your family and really show some appreciation. And this one that I recommended the lego starry night from uh is a really wonderful three D version of the classic iconic van Gogh painting. Oh, I love that. Yeah, we're huge lego collectors in my house. And what are you, what are you getting your father's this father's Day? Raymond, I have to ask uh actually have it right here. That is the fujifilm insects. Mini evo is my personal favorite camera of the year. It's an instant camera, but it's also prints photos directly from your smartphone or your tablet being an app, you can take photos, print them later and give them out as gifts. I always have this camera at a birthday party dinner and my dad absolutely loves it. He loves photography and I want to get him back into it. And so I get him one of those so that he's gonna stop nagging me to use mine. Oh, he's gonna love that. Such great recommendations. I honestly now know what to get my dad. Thank you.
