A helicopter crash has killed five US service members in the Mediterranean Sea. The US European command confirmed the death yesterday saying the incident happened Friday night. The command wrote in a statement this during a routine air refueling mission. A US military aircraft carrying five service members suffered a mishap and crashed into the Mediterranean Sea. Search and rescue efforts began immediately including nearby us military aircraft and ships. The crash is currently being investigated. The command will not be releasing the names of the service members involved until 24 hours after next of kin notifications are complete.
