One of the places where Joe Biden promised big change from President Trump is at the education department. The president-elect has promised to appoint a teacher as education secretary who would be poised to take the department in a very different direction, particularly on higher education as millions of borrowers face uncertainty with their student loans amid a new surge in COVID cases.
