Hollywood Writers Begin Negotiations With Alliance of Motion Picture and Television Producers
The Writer's Guild of America is set to begin negotiations with the Alliance of Motion Picture and Television Producers. Among items expected to be hammered out: watch per stream rates and the use of artificial intelligence in screen writing. In a statement Sunday, the Atlanta-based Fearless Fund said it would comply with the order but remained confident of prevailing in the lawsuit, which was brought by conservative activist Edward Blum’s American Alliance for Equal Rights.
