The number of businesses run by women has jumped by nearly 60 percent in the last 11 years. These female leaders employ more than 9 million people across the U.S. A new survey from Fast Company and Inc. set out to better understand the experiences of these female entrepreneurs, finding that overall they are more politically progressive than their male counterparts. We spoke to Stephanie Mehta, Editor-in-Chief of Fast Company about the results of the survey.
