The summer season is officially coming to a close this week, but that doesn't mean there are no opportunities to travel this fall. According to a survey commissioned by Intrepid Travel, 75% of travelers now find solo travel more acceptable than a decade ago. Leigh Barnes, Regional Director for North America at Intrepid Travel says people are striving to form connections with people they may not make on a day-to-day basis. Barnes says about half of his clients are now traveling alone.
