Insurance company The Hartford is a founding partner of the U.S. Paralympics. It recently kicked off a campaign called "I Will" to support athletes competing in the upcoming 2018 Pyeongchang winter games. Kathy Bromage, Chief Marketing Officer at The Hartford, says the paralympians personify the company's mission to help people get back on their feet after facing loss, accident, or disabilities. Bromage says the quality of technology has made such a difference to the athletes competing in the games. The Hartford has been the Official Disability Insurance Sponsor of the U.S. Paralympics for over two decades. This summer, Hurricanes Irma and Harvey devastated the southern United States. In the third quarter, The Hartford's catastrophe losses totaled $229 million after tax, primarily from these natural disasters. Bromage says The Hartford remains confident with its performance in the last quarter, and that she is proud of members of her team who have been on the front lines of recovery efforts.
