The "Tomorrow App" went live in July, and now has tens of thousands of users. CEO Dave Hanley says he's been able to scale this user base because he saw a pent-up need for financial planning through an app. Services on the Tomorrow App include crafting a will, legal guardianship, and estate planning. Tax reform on Capitol Hill could impact estate tax planning. Hanley says thresholds for this service on the app are high, at $5.5 million for an individual, or $11 million as a couple. So, Tomorrow meets the needs of 95% of Americans. If the estate tax is eliminated, that percentage will climb. Hanley says this technology has developed a smoother process in setting up financial services to help people plan for their future. It combines legal and financial needs into one experience, and is free. The Tomorrow App has raised $3 million in venture capital funding.
