Tuna Amobi, Media and Entertainment Analyst at CFRA Research, and Paul Verna, Principal Analyst at eMarketer, discuss the rise in streaming services after this year's Emmys. Verna says "the genie is out of the bottle" when it comes to cord-cutting, adding that he does not think those who have already canceled their cable subscriptions will ever go back. Verna predicts that we will only see a rise in digital platforms that allow you to choose the channels and networks that you want. Tuna says it is time for networks to go back to the drawing board and rethink the traditional cable "bundle" to mitigate the impact that we're already seeing digital streaming services have on traditional media companies.
