So a new humanoid like robot which is designed to do dull, dirty and dangerous jobs typically done by humans has been unveiled. This robot is called Apollo and it comes from aprons. It measures about 5 ft eight inches tall and weighs around £160. Sounds like me. Now, Apollo uses electricity instead of hydraulics to make it safer, can lift £55 and has a four hour battery life that can be changed out to work for 22 hours a day to avoid making people feel uneasy about seeing a human like robot. The company gave Apollo a digital panel on its chest for communication. Look at this thing, a funny little face and movements like head turns to let people know which direction it's going. So how would you react if you saw Apollo walking around putting cake cups on the shelf at the grocery store? I don't know.
