Hyundai and Kia Cars Adopting Tesla Charging Ports

Another major automaker will start using Tesla's charging ports. Hyundai and Kia electric vehicles in the US will adopt Tesla's chargers next year. The South Korean automaker is joining other rivals like Ford General Motors and Nissan in adopting the Tesla plug for its vehicles. This brings Tesla's supercharge network one step closer to becoming the industry standard for North America and and Kia vehicles will start shipping with Tesla charging ports in the fourth quarter of next year in the United States.
