Idaho Woman Appeals Murder Convictions in Deaths of Children

Idaho woman. Laura Vallo Dabell has appealed her convictions in the murders of two of her Children over questions of whether she was mentally competent to stand trial. That's according to a motion that her attorney filed in the State Supreme court. Last week, a jury convicted Ballo Dave in May of murdering her Children, 16 year olds, Haley Ryan and seven year old JJ A judge originally ruled that she was incompetent to stand trial, but she was later ruled fit for trial after nearly a year in a mental hospital. Her husband Chad Dabell is scheduled to be tried separately in April of next year.
