Now he claims twitter didn't provide him with enough data for his team to fairly assess whether bots or spam accounts were prevalent on the surface, a figure that would have an effect on user numbers. Twitter is saying the complete opposite that they provided musk with proof that only an estimated 5% of accounts were bots and they gave him a firehouse, which is a full time stream of every tweet on the platform, predictably musk is mocking the company on where else twitter itself, Kristen uh, this is interesting hana of course, must always known for being a bit cavalier, but we had dan Ives on last hour and for the first time there was definitely a shift in tone. I think people, users of twitter were a bit worried what Elon musk would do with his somewhat erratic behavior coming to that platform when their data be safe, How would the platform change? But Danny is actually saying this has kind of reached a fever pitch. He's surprised that must walked away officially from this deal, no win scenario for either party here, but for Tesla shareholders and twitter shareholders simply not good news with those stocks turning lower. Now we're gonna see if Twitter actually goes after Elon musk for that $1 billion dollars mark that we've been mentioning And I think that that would certainly help right? I mean, the stocks down almost 50% from that takeover price. So I think Twitter really trying to pull out all the stops here. Okay, well, we're also keeping an eye on shares of Uber Hannah after the Guardian published leaked documents about the company and that stock is down close to 5% More than 124,000 confidential documents revealing the inner workings of a company as it underwent a massive global expansion. Well, it did include details on how Uber attempted to lobby, then Vice President joe biden among other world leaders. And even text messages showed how french President Emmanuel Macron helped Uber with lobbying efforts in his own country, back when he was a finance minister, former Ceo and founder, Travis Kalanick has been since pushed out of the company involved in some fiery exchanges in these leaks. At one point, he appears to suggest that Uber drivers encountering violent protesters could be beneficial to the business. An exposed person saying he denies ever exploiting his drivers in that way and we'll have more on the story here in just about 20 minutes. This is interesting as well. No doubt. We all know under Travis Kalanick's rain, the company trying to expand really at all costs. Yes. But I think especially some of these world leaders joe biden, Emmanuel Macron, their involvement also of interest. Now Washington post is reporting that Kalanick said privately that quote any violent backlash to the potential event that of course was the anti Uber strike in paris would be worth it. And quote guarantee success for the company. Like you mentioned, Kalanick is denying this. Yeah. So the league documents show how Uber appeared to capitalize on these attacks and you and I were covering these attacks very closely a few years ago. So this is interesting that we're getting so many more details and I do wonder if anything more will come out of it. As with Kalanick staying anything further. And of course we know Kalanick also pushed out of this company right. Because of his own whether you want to say not necessarily erratic like Elon musk, but certainly aggressive behavior is what led to his own downfall at the company that he founded. Let's look at casino stocks, Wynn resorts and las Vegas sands are down on the day. They're in rough shape after popular dangling destination in Southeast asia. Macau shut down all of its casinos do to combat to combat the spread of Covid, this is the first time the casinos have been shut down in two years, Macau's 30 plus casinos will be shuttered for at least one week as the city undergoes mass testing.
