A guitar destroyed by Nirvana frontman Kurt Cobain sold for nearly $600,000 on Saturday at an auction in a Hard Rock Café in New York City. Cobain smashed the guitar in the early 1990s while recording the band's breakout album Nevermind. The guitar was reassembled but is no longer playable.
