In Case You Missed It: New Fossil Suggests Mammals Hunted Dinosaurs 

Now, in case you missed it, recently discovered fossils in China are showing evidence that some early mammals may have hunted dinosaurs. You can see here and right there, both the fossil and some rendered drawings of what the creatures would have looked like. The fossil was found in what's known as China's Pompeii where mud and debris from volcanoes long ago, buried creatures in their tracks. The creatures are said to be from the crustaceous period 125 million years ago. The author of the study says there has been evidence that mammals, dinosaurs, but this is the first to suggest they actually hunted them. Amazing, interesting, I guess it's evolution, right? And I love that we're learning new information about dinosaurs every day with everything being literally unearthed around our planet. It is fascinating, that's for sure. Ok. Here's the fun one. Today's national Hot Dog Day, which means plenty of deals on one of America's favorite summer foods. Portillo's famous Chicago dog be offering free delivery on orders. Dog house is giving away a free hot dog. Targeting at Target has 25% off a pack of a ballpark, hot dog for Target circle members. And of course, Nathan's will be selling his hot dogs for five cents from 11 this morning to one pm this afternoon. So, did you know that last year Americans spent $8.3 billion on hot dogs just in supermarkets? Well, that's according to the national hot dog and Sausage Council. Hannah. The big age old question is, is a hot dog a sandwich? Yes or no. I've always said yes. and then I just looked it up. Merriam Webster agrees with me. Yes. A hot dog is a sandwich because the definition of a sandwich is two or more slices of bread or a split roll, having a filling in between. But others say whether a hot dog is on a bun or on just a regular sandwich, it's still called a hot dog. So they don't consider it a sandwich. I do consider it a sandwich. What about you? I was gonna call it our Tartine an open faced sandwich, right? With basically just 11 side of bread, which is, I think that's like a Fancy French. So I kind of like that hot dog and Fancy French are one of the same. I was gonna say you're very fancy. You know what I'm gonna go with Tartine. I think I'm a bigger fan of that word. I like it.
