The crew filmed the run in and posted it to their Facebook page where it has since gone viral. Luckily, the crew didn't come face to face with the gator. A four-wheeled robot camera, which they use to investigate any issues inside pipes, stumbled upon it. Funnily enough, they thought it was a toad at first, until it turned around and saw its long tail.
