In Entertainment: Ana De Armas Claps Back on NC-17 Rating and Madonna Plus Britney

And in many ways she thought that that was going to be her Oscar role. That was gonna be the role that sort of catapulted her even higher to stardom than than saved by the bell. But like because movie theaters don't want NC 17 because you can't get anybody in there, it's so difficult to sort of charge who's getting in and who's not. But at the same time you want as a filmmaker to be able to tell the story correctly and the way that you wanted to. So think of how many movies had basically sanitize the film to then just get an R. Rating because they didn't want an NC 17 rating. So many directors have horror stories based on how they had to go through the rating system to get even just an R. Rating when they were going to get an NC 17. But now in a streaming age we're not as reliant on movie theaters and you tell the story the way you want. And it can be accessible to more people. This is why you can do a story like Marilyn Monroe's blonde on a netflix and it can get an NC 17 and people will still be able to see it. It's a new era and there's so much buzz around this movie and I think NC 17 is actually just peeking people's interest now they are going to watch it. And I almost wonder if this then opens the door to more, more big NC 17 films that are up for hire for the stars. Exactly that Berkeley had dreamed that show Girls would have become because now all of a sudden, if it's on a netflix or you know, something else or an HBO max, it's not really looked at the same way as something that would have gone to theaters. All right, let's talk about Britney Spears. She's hoping her new collaboration with Elton john helps restart her music career. Do we know if he's getting paid for these interviews? We don't know, we don't know and I mean look, if this is, if we don't know and and who knows why he's doing 60 minutes Australia as opposed to another news organization that is here also. But I do think because one he's sort of a softer easier friendlier sort of actor that we really embrace him and we really like him because I think other actors, I don't think we'll be able to come back from a long period of time, I think he can and to we love nostalgia and I think watching Brendan fraser make this sort of reappearance. I think harkens to nostalgia that we appreciate from back in the day of watching George in the Jungle or all these other sorts of weird movies that he had been a part of because he always played the Lovable goofball every single film and I think we still really appreciate that about him and we love a good comeback and we love a good comeback story.
